Obie,

As you know, I have scheduled the fourth independent Q&A with voter for 6 pm Sunday, October 17 at Damman School. I hope you can make it to this one.

Also, I have posted an annotated version of my opening remarks from last night on my blog. I am perfectly willing to update it if anything I have said is untrue or unfair.

Best wishes,

Steve

  1. Please, not Obie O'Brien. This County has spent enough money and time promoting and defending bad decisions and policy. Putting O'Brien into office continues the corrosive "Good Ol' Boyism" plague. Our primary problems in Kittitas County: governance, development and jobs are not being caused by external forces (Olympia, The Gubment, etc.). They're self-inflicted. Obie is just another sock-puppet for the group that is running this County into the ground. His "plan" is to take orders.

  3. I don't believe Obie OBrien is anyone's "sock puppet". What is worse is someone with pie-in-the sky statements about everything he will "change" on the County Commission and how he will "challenge" the decision-making process (although he has no experience doing so) without any clear path he will take. Obie OBrien is conscientious, will make his own decisions based on analysis and information not sensationalism and will be a steady advocate for what is best for Kittitas County.
